29May is Foster Care Month in Michigan
Governor Jennifer M. Granholm has declared May 2005 Foster Care Month in Michigan. The governor?s announcement highlights the fact that more than 20,000 Michigan children and youth are living with about 8,000 foster care families. Twenty-eight children enter the foster care system every day in Michigan.
