The Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity Programs (EODAC) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating all activities associated with the execution of all internal and external agency equal opportunity and diversity efforts. The major areas covered are employment; disability advocacy; discriminatory harassment prevention, and limited english speaking proficiency (LEP).
It is the policy of the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS) to pursue equal opportunity regardless of age, color, disability, height, genetic information, marital status, national origin, partisan consideration, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, and weight as defined by federal and state laws and regulations in our relations with employees, clients, contractors and vendors. A complete copy of the plan may be accessed by contacting the OEODP.
