• Michigan's Welfare Reform Plan
Michigan's Welfare Reform plan is a vision for ensuring the well-being of Michigan's children and families. It is ambitious. It requires the participation and leadership of community organizations, the private and non-profit sectors, government, and indeed every citizen, to assure its success.


		1992 Welfare Reform

		View: Broad sweeping initiatives to revamp Michigan's support to families and children in need, "To Strengthen Michigan Families."


		1994 Welfare Reform

		View: A second round of 27 initiatives that built on our solid foundation and further reformed our programs for Michigan families.


		1996 Block Grant Reform

		View: Federal Block Grants that went even further to advance our goals of assisting families and children to escape the cycle of welfare dependency.
