FAQ
  Foster Care
What happens after an application is filed?

Answer:
A services worker from the Department arranges to talk with prospective foster parents, usually in the office and in the home. The services worker explains Department policies and what is expected of foster parents. The services worker needs to get to know the parents and the members of the family. Medical statements and character references are checked.
