Project Management Resource Center

The Project Management Resource Center (PMRC) consists of a group of senior project managers that are available to manage large information technology projects.  Roles and responsibilities include:

 

  • Provide leadership and guidance for large-sized agency and enterprise Information Technology projects.  
  • Direct and guide the project team through the initiation, planning, execution, controlling, and closing phases of the project, and perform other project related activities.  
  • Develop standard, repeatable, reliable project management practices.  
  • Manage the agency’s project efforts for completion on time, within budget, and to the customer’s expectations.  
  • Provide decision-making procedures for the project team to use in resource allocation, and maintains records for review of the project.  
  • Functionally supervise the project team and commercial vendors.
