ADVISORY - Attention: Business News/Calendar Editors Seminar on "MIOSHA Construction - Part 45 Fall Protection" Offered in Escanaba - July 10th

June 30, 2008 - Attendees in this full-day seminar will review the MIOSHA Construction Safety Standard Part 45, Fall Protection, including the latest OSHA and MIOSHA interpretations. Examination of recent fatal falls in construction and discussion of the latest fall protection techniques for construction will be covered. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) Consultation Education and Training (CET) Division offers seminars, courses and workshops statewide. These programs have a small fee and are open to general public attendance. The MIOSHA program is part of the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growth (DLEG).

This seminar offers CEUs/Maintenance points and is part of the MIOSHA Training Institute (MTI) Level 1 certification program. For further information, please visit the MIOSHA website at www.michigan.gov/mioshatraining.
