MPSC Approves Settlement Agreement Authorizing SEMCO Energy Gas Company's 2008-2009 Gas Cost Recovery Factor

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing SEMCO Energy Gas Company to implement its 2008-2009 gas cost recovery (GCR) factor.

The approved settlement agreement implements a GCR factor of up to $10.5214 per thousand cubic feet, effective the first billing month after July 1.

The utility, MPSC staff, and the Residential Ratepayer Consortium participated in the settlement agreement.  The Attorney General filed a statement of non-objection to the agreement.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
