Each officer, partner, or proprietor of an applicant, each person serving in a managerial capacity involving counseling, and each individual counselor to be employed by an applicant shall take and pass an examination pursuant to Section 6(3) of the Debt Management Act, P.A. 148 of 1975, as amended (Act) . 

Complete these steps:

• Register for an Examination online or by phone at 1-800-742-8736. 
• Submit form FIS 0506 Initial Application for Debt Management License to our office.
