Reinstatement


Resident Producer - Reinstatement

A resident producer may be reinstated if inactive for less than 1 year. If the license has been inactive over 1 year, applicant must start the licensing process as an initial licensee.

Submit Electronic Resident Licensing (ERL) application If submitting application for additional qualifications within 30 days of first application, must contact NIPR at 816/783-8468 to delete first application ID.

Non-resident Producer - Reinstatement

A non-resident producer may reinstate a Michigan license for the qualifications held in the home state.

Submit Electronic Non-Resident Licensing (NRL) application.  If submitting application for additional qualifications within 30 days of first application, must contact NIPR at 816/783-8468 to delete first application ID.

Michigan will rely on verification of applicant's resident license through the Producer Licensing Database in lieu of original letter of certification
