Office of Financial and Insurance Services (OFIS) Commissioner Linda A. Watters named Andy Schor as the new Public Information Officer (PIO) effective Monday, December 6, 2004.

“Andy has a wealth of experience dealing with the press and the public,” said Watters. “He will be an asset to OFIS, and will continue to be a dedicated public servant to the citizens of Michigan.”

As PIO, Schor’s responsibilities will be to share the priorities and initiatives of OFIS with the public. He will work with the media on inquiries and announcements dealing with important financial and insurance services issues in Michigan.
