MPSC Approves Settlement Agreement Authorizing Indiana Michigan Power Company's 2007 Power Supply Cost Recovery Factor

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing Indiana Michigan Power Company to charge a power supply cost recovery factor of up to 5.66 mills per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for its St. Joseph rate area and a factor of up to 4.68 mills per kWh in its Three Rivers rate area in 2007.

The average residential customer in the St. Joseph rate area using 500 kWh per month will see a monthly increase of about $2.05. The average residential customer in the Three Rivers rate area using 500 kWh per month will see a monthly increase of about $1.49.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
