February 28, 2007 -Nonprofit organization officers, directors and members are invited to register for one of the informative DLEG Corporation Division seminars in Lansing. The topics include director and officers duties and responsibilities, indemnification, charitable solicitations, financing, tax issues, filing requirements and record keeping.
The sessions will be offered monthly from March through October at the DLEG Bureau of Commercial Services Corporation Division's Okemos office (2501 Woodlake Circle, Okemos MI) from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. The 2007 seminar dates are:

There is a non-refundable fee of $50.00 per person for attending the seminar. Class size is limited so please submit your registration request, at least 2 weeks prior to the seminar.
Presenters for the seminar are from DLEG, Consumer Protection and Charitable Trust Division of Michigan Attorney General, IRS, and Michigan Department of Treasury. Printed materials for the seminar include a resource notebook, DLEG brochures, and IRS booklets and forms.
