Herman Miller's Zeeland Operations will receive the Michigan Voluntary Protection Program
(MVPP) Star Award from the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (MIOSHA) at a special ceremony on Thursday, October 9, at 2:00 p.m. The event will be located at the
company's headquarters in Zeeland.
This is Herman Miller's fourth
facility to receive the prestigious MVPP Star Award.
The Michigan
Voluntary Protection Programs (MVPP) Star Award for outstanding safety and
health programs is awarded by MIOSHA, and recognizes worksites that
provide exemplary safety and health protection for their workers. The MIOSHA program is part of the Michigan
Department of Labor & Economic Growth (DLEG).
DLEG Director Keith W. Cooley will present the MVPP Star Award to Greg Wrona, General Manager of Operations
for Herman Miller, Inc., who will accept on behalf of the entire Zeeland Operations
Team. Employees and guests will attend
the presentation.

and manufactures work surfaces and other office systems furniture components
for the company.
