DECEMBER 13, 1999 - The Michigan Department of Consumer & Industry Services (CIS) has summarily suspended the chiropractic license of Stanley B. Levine due to a November 1998 felony conviction of Mail Fraud. Levine’s license was summarily suspended pursuant to the Public Health Code, which provides for the mandatory summary suspension of a health professional’s license upon conviction of a felony, a two-year misdemeanor, or a misdemeanor involving controlled substances. An administrative hearing will be scheduled to address the status of Levine’s suspended chiropractic license.
