NOVEMBER 14, 2002 – Michigan Department of Consumer & Industry Services Director Noelle Clark will present Huntsman Polyurethanes with the Rising Star plaque and acknowledge their participation in the Michigan Voluntary Protection Programs. The celebration will be held on Monday, November 18, 2002 at noon at the Huntsman Auburn Hills facility located at 2190 Executive Hills Boulevard.
The Michigan Voluntary Protection Programs (MVPP) Rising Star award is given to companies that have a good safety and health program in place and have the desire and commitment to achieve the next and highest level of award, the Michigan Star award.
The Michigan Department of Consumer & Industry Services (CIS) Bureau of Safety and Regulation, which administers the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSHA), awards the Rising Star plaque.
Huntsman Polyurethanes is a research and development center for the Huntsman Polyurethanes Derivatives Division servicing the Furniture, Footwear, Automotive and Adhesives Coatings and Elastomers sectors.
