The bill amends the Mobile Home Commission Act by increasing the number of members on the Commission to 13. Representation of mobile home park operators would be decreased from three to one. Members would be added representing an environmental advocacy organization, township officials, municipal officials and a housing advocacy organization.

The bill also adds Section 7A to the Act by stating that a local government zoning ordinance is not exclusionary pursuant to Section 7 (3) unless that has been determined by order of a court.

This bill is identical to Senate Bill 43.
