2007 Performance Management Cycle
All 2007 annual reviews must be completed and fully certified online by
January 18, 2008. All 2008 annual plans must be created and fully certified online no later than
January 31, 2008. Please see below for a list of tips and guidelines to aid in preparing your annual plans and reviews. In addition, Civil Service has helpful user guides and tutorials at www.michigan.gov/mdcs/(click on "Agency Services" then "Performance Management").
The online system relies on email addresses being correctly entered in HRMN to send its system reminders and notifications. If you haven't already done so, please take a minute to ensure your email address is correct in HRMN by visiting MI HR Self-Service at www.michigan.gov/selfserv. After logging in, click on "Employment" then "Work Phone & E-Mail". If your email address is incorrect, no address is showing, or it was changed as a result of the Michigan/1 ADOPT process, please type in your correct "michigan.gov" email address and click "Update."
If you need assistance with checking on or entering your email address, please contact your bureau personnel liaison or the Office of Human Resources at (517) 373-4769.
Supervisors and Managers, in addition to checking your email address, please review your list of direct reports in Self-Service to confirm that everyone is there who should be. Please also confirm that your direct reports have certified their 2007 annual plans. If the plan has not been fully certified by both you and the employee, you will not be able to complete the 2007 review. If names are missing or you have any questions, please contact your bureau personnel liaison or the Office of Human Resources so corrections can be made.
