State Energy Program Special Project Grants

This is an annual grant solicitation by the U.S. Dept. of Energy.  The Energy Office will compete with other states in a number of project areas related to energy efficiency and renewable energy.  Individuals are not eligible to be partners.  Private and public organizations are eligible to partner with the Energy Office. The project areas include Clean Cities, Industrial Technology Outreach, Building Codes, Rebuild America, Building America, Photovoltaic Building Integrated Micro Inverters, Wind Power, Biomass, Integration with Air Quality Issues, and Federal Energy Management Program.

The state deadline is Wednesday, April 13, 2005, 5:00 PM.

The Energy Office is interested in partnering with institutions and businesses who are interested in any of the project areas.  The Energy Office is the official grant applicant so you have to apply through our office.  The grants will be very competitive and the Energy Office is not able to prepare a grant application for you.  This federal application process is not easy.  You should do the following:
