Posting Requirements For Employers

Agency: Labor & Economic Growth

Posters Required by Law

The following Michigan Minimum Wage Law posters are required by law to be posted in the work place if you are not covered by the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended (FLSA) or federal minimum wage provisions would result in a lower minimum wage than provided in the Michigan Minimum Wage Law.

Recent amendments to the minimum wage law have made existing copies of the law and rules obsolete.  There is the possibility of editorial changes of Act 154, also expected are revisions to the administrative rules.

Because of these possible changes the printing of posters will be temporarily deferred. However, the links below are available to the public for posting. Employers who post Public Act 154, of 1964, as amended and the General & Overtime Compensation rules or the poster titled Required Poster General Requirements (of) The Michigan Minimum Wage Law of 1964,  will be considered in compliance with the posting requirements of Section 11 during the temporary deferral. You can print your own copy of the posters or contact the Wage and Hour Division at (517) 335-0400 to have a copy sent to you.

The following poster on the Youth Employment Standards Act is required to be posted in the work place if you employ minors. You can print your own copy of the poster or contact the Wage and Hour Division at (517) 335-0400 to have a copy sent to you.

Additional postings relating to workplace safety may need to be posted, use this link to MIOSHA publications to see required MIOSHA postings.
