Does the Youth Employment Standards Act (YESA) still apply if the minor is involved in a co-op agreement?

Agency: Energy, Labor & Economic Growth

No. This agreement is a written contract between the school board, employer, and parents. At the time the agreement is made with the employer all the conditions of employment; job duties, hours, and pay rate should be agreed upon at this time.
