The directory is published by The Visually Impaired Information Center, a non-profit organization established in 1995 and located in Livonia, Michigan. Print copies and additional formats of the directory can be ordered on their website.
Learning Opportunities For Your Child Through Alternate Assessments This booklet from the U.S. Department of Education introduces parents to the "big ideas" contained in school improvement efforts under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, and provides parents with the information they need to help ensure that their children can benefit from these efforts.
