Michigan Commission for the Blind
Mark Eagle is a Political Science student at Central Michigan University. He is a 22-year-old Lansing resident and was born blind. At 10 weeks old, Mark underwent eye surgery to help correct his vision. Although Mark is legally blind, he did gain some eyesight from that surgery.
Mark has been very active in the Michigan Commission for the Blind. He has served on the Consumer Involvement Council as Chairperson and Vice Chair and on the Training Center Ad Hoc Committee as a youth representative. Mark is also a former delegate and Program Assistant for the Michigan Youth Leadership Forum under the Michigan Commission on Disability Concerns and a former member of the Funding Committee for the National Youth Leadership Network.
As a Commissioner for the Michigan Commission for the Blind, Mark looks forward to serving the people of Michigan and the clients of the commission.
