Summer in the City, June 15-25, 2009, in Grand Rapids

June 15 through 25 are the dates for the 2009 Summer in the City, a two-week program for MCB clients age 14-21 and in high school. This program features high-school-to-career transition activities emphasizing daily living skills and employment skill development. This program for transition age youth is sponsored by the Michigan Commission for the Blind (MCB), the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI), and the Kent, Ionia, and Ottawa intermediate school districts.
