The Michigan Commission for the Blind (MCB) provides these services for youth:
The Youth Low Vision Program, which provides low-vision exams and eyeglasses (and other low-vision devices worn on the head) for eligible youth from birth to 26 years of age;
Transition Services, which help students transition from high school to postsecondary education or employment. As a part of this program, an MCB Rehabilitation Counselor participates in the preparation of the student's Individual Education Program (IEP).
