Relicensure

Licensees seeking relicensure within three years of the expiration of their license should contact the board office, either by telephone at (517) 241-9288, by mail, or by email to request the relicensure application. The fees will be indicated on the application that you receive from the office.

Applicants for relicensure who have not held a current license within the past three years must retake and successfully complete the appropriate examinations. Those applicants should contact PSI Examinations at (800)733-9267 to obtain the paperwork to begin the relicensure application process.

All builder and and residential maintenance & alteration contractor applicants for relicensure must provide the same paperwork required for a new license, inclucing official documents supporting the use of a company name or the structure of the company.
