Big A graphic The examination is based on the following:
· Michigan Occupational Code, Public Act 299 of 1980, as amended, (Articles 1-6 and Article 9)
· Collection Agencies Administrative Rules
· Michigan Uniform Commerical Code, Public Act 174 of 1962, as amended, Article 9 - Secured Transactions, Michigan  Complied Laws 440.9101 through 440.9102, 440 9201 through 440.9207 and 440.9601 through 440.9624
· Revised Judicature Act of 1961, Public Act 236 of 1961, as amended, Michigan Complied Laws 600.2952
· Motor Vehicle Sales Finance Act, Public Act 27 of 1950, as amended, Michigan Complied Laws 492.101 and 492.113 through 492.114

Big Q graphic What is the examination format?
Big A graphic The Collection Agency State Jurisprudence Licensing Examination is a written examination consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions. This is a closed book examination. Reference materials of any kind are not permitted. You will have 75 minutes to complete the examination.

Big Q graphic How do I become scheduled for the examination?
Big A graphic In order to schedule you for the next upcoming examination, the Department must receive your collection manager application and will advise PSI regarding your eligibility to test. Once the Department notifies you that has been done, you contact PSI directly at: www.psiexams.com

Big Q graphic What do I need to bring to the examination?
Big A graphic You will need an:
· Official, Signed Photo Identification. Acceptable ID's include: Driver's license, State of Michigan identification, passport, or immigration card. All forms of identification must contain a photo and signature of candidate. You will not be admitted without acceptable identification.

Big Q graphic What score is needed to pass the examination?
Big A graphicSee page 2 of the Candidate Information Bulletin regarding "Missed Appointment or Late Cancellation."  Candidates must score 70% or above in order to pass.
