Licenses for mortuary science and funeral establishments are due for renewal by October 31 of odd-numbered years. Resident Trainee licenses are renewed annually by January 31. A resident trainee license may only be renewed twice.

Renewal notification will be sent to each licensee at the current address on record approximately 30 - 45 days before the expiration date on the license.

License renewals for mortuary science licenses and funeral establishments licenses not received by October 31 can be renewed with submittal of the regular renewal fee, plus a $20.00 late fee until December 30. After December 30 the licensee must apply for relicensure.
