How can I obtain a list of licensed brokers and salespersons?

You can obtain a list of licensees by contacting the Department at 517-335-7901. They will discuss with you aspects of your purchase request such as format, price, etc.  Or, visit the "Purchase Licensee Lists and Data" page.

Licensees who have questions regarding interpretation of contracts, rental agreements, commission disputes and closings are advised to consult with their employing broker.  If legal advice is needed, they should consult an attorney for appropriate action.

I would like to teach a continuing education class for Michigan real estate licensees.  What do I need to do to get approved as a sponsor?

If you go to our website at www.michigan.gov/realestateand on the right hand side of the screen are Quick Links, you need to click on the "Forms and Publications" link.  You will locate an application package called "Continuing Education for Nondistance Learning" which is for courses taught in a classroom.  The Distance Learning application package is for online courses.  Instructions for filing are included.  Once you have completed the applications, submit the information to the Department for approval.
