I would like to teach a continuing education class for
Michigan
real estate licensees. What do I need to do to get approved as a sponsor?
If you visit this website (www.michigan.gov/realestate) and click on Forms & Publications, you will locate an approval application package for continuing education (and also for prelicensure education school/course approvals). Instructions for filing these applications are included. Once you have completed the applications, submit the required information to the Department for approval. You will be contacted regarding your submission and its approval.
I would like to receive a Redbook or know where to find the license law and rules. Does the Department still provide this publication?
If you visit this website (www.michigan.gov/realestate) and click under Quick Links, you will see that the first few entries deal with this. There are several ways to obtain the information. You can read it on the website, print it from the website, licensees can request one free copy by calling or e-mailing the Department (bcslic@michigan.gov) or you may purchase Redbooks in bulk amounts by paying for them.
