Why would I use a notepad entry?
 
Answer:
To provide important and relevant information to the vendor. Note pad entries are printed on the warrant and provided to the vendor. This is a excellent place to provide the vendor with specific information regarding the payment, i.e. account number, instructions for applying the payment, mailing instructions, etc.
