FAQ
  Vehicle Services
What is the MAP Guide or MAP Passport?

Answer:
The MAP guide and the MAP passport are the same thing. Quite often, drivers or a MAP advisor will interchange these terms. The Maintenance Assistance Program (MAP) guide is a plastic coated document that contains several pieces of information:
  1. on the back is the preventive maintenance schedule for your vehicle-including VIN number, Wheels vehicle number and license plate number,

  2. steps to obtaining scheduled maintenance,

  3. steps to obtaining unscheduled maintenance,

  4. a toll free number to locate a service supplier or emergency service,

  5. instructions to the service supplier for obtaining authorization and billing instructions. This is the primary document you should use to schedule preventive maintenance for your vehicle.
