- I try to edit vehicle information and VIOLA gives me an error mesage that the record is being modified by someone else so I can't change it. I checked with the other person and they modified it last week but are not working on it now. What's going on?

I try to edit vehicle information and VIOLA gives me an error mesage that the record is being modified by someone else so I can't change it. I checked with the other person and they modified it last week but are not working on it now. What's going on?

Answer:

It is important when editing data to click on edit or save before going back to the main menu. This problem also occurs when the person who edited data does not log out of VIOLA properly.
