The Press and Bindery areas of Print and Graphic Services offer a wide variety of services to help you get your project completed.

Printing

Print and Graphic Services can print a full-range of high-quality brochures, newsletters, letterhead, business cards, posters, forms, envelopes, carbonless forms, manuals, books and more. If you have questions about our printing capabilities, please contact a consultant at (517) 322-1889.

We offer full-service printing - from a black ink form to full four-color process printing. We can print from your furnished camera-ready originals, electronic copy or our graphic design staff can create the piece for you.

Paper
We have access to literally hundreds of types, textures and colors of paper. Paper samples are kept on-site for you to review. Printing consultants are also available to help you select the best paper stock to meet your needs.

All types of paper, including cover stock, index and recycled items, are readily available. If we don't have a particular paper in-stock, we can order it and generally receive it within a few days.

Platemaking
Print and Graphic Services offers complete platemaking services for offset printing on-site at the Secondary Complex location. This includes digital matchprints, color imposed proofs, color laser creation, electronic imposition and printing of metal plates.

PGS recently purchased an AGFA Acento II computer-to-plate (CTP) machine. Prepress staff no longer use film, but print directly on the metal plate. As a result of this technology, PGS is able to provide increased quality, increased speed and an affordable cost. 

Binding
Print and Graphic Services offers a full-range of bindery services. These services include: folding, collating, perforating, scoring, punching, stapling, padding, book binding, cutting, wrapping and more.
