STARBASE Application Process

STARBASE

 

Qualifying teachers enroll fifth and sixth grade students into STARBASE as an entire classroom unit. Each class attends the STARBASE Academy one day each week over a five consecutive weeks for 5 hours per day to receive a total of 25 curriculum hours. Although the particular times of operation for the Academy can vary to accommodate schedules, the average visit is from 9 AM to 2 PM. STARBASE supplies all necessary program materials to the students. In addition, teachers receive supplemental/enrichment activities for use in their classroom.

 

A STARBASE student experiences the cockpit of an F-16 fighter.To apply for the Academy, please print and complete the School Application. Mail this application to the address provided on the application form. The STARBASE staff will review the application. If your school meets the program criteria, STARBASE staff will contact you with additional information.
