Fishing in the pond at The Grand Rapids Home for Veterans
On the campus of The Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, there is a pond full of fish and a bait shop to get everything you need to catch the fish. The pond is connected to the Grand River and is a wonderful attraction for the members and visitors at the home. There are couple times a year that the pond is stocked with trout and fishing tournaments are help for the members. After the fishing is done a fish fry is put on for the members to eat what they catch. It is a great time for all that is involved.
