How do I apply for a VA home loan guaranty?
 
Answer:

Applicants must have a good credit rating, have an income sufficient to support mortgage payments and agree to live in the property. Veterans obtain VA guaranteed loans through lending institutions, including banks, savings and loan associations, credit unions and mortgage loan companies.

 

To obtain a VA Certificate of eligibility for a home loan guaranty, mail a completed VA Form 26-1880 and a copy of your DD 214 to:
