Come to the Haven Hill Festival and enjoy a celebration of the amazing natural and historic resources. The Haven Hill section of this beautiful park was once the country estate home of Edsel and Eleanor Ford and their family. This year’s event will feature several summer outdoor activities including the new Cedar Creek hiking, biking and equestrian trail, vintage Model A Ford automobiles, an 1860’s era baseball game with a live brass band, Haven Hill history and art displays, walking tours, children’s activities, summer foods and beverages and more! The free family event promotes awareness of the wonderful natural and historic resources that make up Highland State Recreation Area and the Haven Hill National Natural Landmark.

The festival is provided to the public at no charge, however a Recreation Passport is required for park entry. A free shuttle van will be provided to transport visitors to and from the Haven Hill Lodge, Edsel Ford Barn, Goose Meadow and the Gate House. The Haven Hill section of Highland State Recreation Area is located in Highland/White Lake, enter via the main gate at 5200 Highland Road (M-59) between Duck Lake and Bogie Lake roads. The event occurs in Goose Meadow near the Historic Haven Hill Structures.
