Validating Kills

Immediately after killing a bear, a person shall validate their license by cutting out the appropriate information as instructed on the license. The license must then be attached to the bear's lower jaw. You may wish to fold the kill tag in half directly over a piece of wire or cord (after removing backing) before attaching the license to the lower jaw of the bear in a secure and permanent manner. The bear must be registered by the person who killed it within 72 hours of the kill.
