2008 Hunting Season

Application Period: July 15-August 15.

If you encounter problems with your antlerless deer application, you can obtain assistance by calling (517) 373-1263. All inquiries regarding your application must be made prior to August 10.

Drawing results for all applicants will be posted September 8 at www.michigan.gov/dnrdrawings

Junior antlerless hunters must be age 10 to 16 on or before September 18.

Youth Firearm Deer Season: September 27-28.

Leftover licenses will become available beginning September 17 at 10 a.m.

Baiting may occur only from October 1 - January 1, 2009. Check the 2008 Michigan Hunting and Trapping Guide for a complete list of baiting regulations.

Late Antlerless Firearm Deer Season: December 22 - January 1, 2009.
