Apply for both elk and Pure Michigan Hunt licenses! The Pure Michigan Hunt offers a unique opportunity to hunt elk, bear and other game all in the same year. Only $4 for each application - apply as many times as you'd like. Will not affect your chances in the regular elk drawing. You could also win a rifle and crossbow! Important Changes
- Elk unit C has been eliminated.
- Elk units L and X have been expanded to include lands previously in elk unit C.
- Commercial guides on state land must receive written authorization from the DNR.
Important Reminders
- Selected hunters will be randomly assigned to a specific hunt area and hunt period.
- You may not apply for an elk license and purchase a "chance only" in the same year.
