2011 Michigan Antlerless Deer Hunting Digest (HTML)

Important Changes

  • The season purchase limit for antlerless deer licenses has increased to five statewide (except DMU 486 and DMU 487 have no season limit).
  • Kent County (DMU 041) has been incorporated into the southern Michigan multi-county DMU 486.
  • Baiting and feeding in limited quantities is allowed in the Lower Peninsula except for DMU 487.

Important Reminders

  • Combination and firearm deer licenses can be used to harvest antlerless and antlered deer in DMU 487.
  • Review the DMUs open and closed to antlerless hunting carefully, as changes occur to some DMUs each year.
