* After the drawing, any remaining antlerless licenses will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. Hunters may purchase two antlerless deer licenses per day. Licenses will be available until the quota for the DMU is reached.

Antlerless Deer License Fees
Hunting license fees are established by the Legislature. The DNR has been granted authority to discount antlerless deer licenses and has discounted these licenses since 1995. In 2009, most antlerless deer licenses will not be discounted. Licenses will be discounted 40 percent only in DMUs 001, 004, 035, 060, 068, 071, 135, 452 and 487 where bovine tuberculosis has been documented in the northeast Lower Peninsula, and in Kent County (DMU 041) where chronic wasting disease has been documented.
