Falconry Season

Falconry is a permitted method of hunting migratory game birds. Rails, snipe, woodcock, geese, ducks, mergansers, coots and moorhens may be taken during the established firearm seasons in the respective zones and goose management units. In addition, ducks, mergansers, coots and moorhens may be taken statewide by falconry during Dec. 12 - Jan. 15, 2012 and Mar. 1-10, 2012. The daily limit is three birds of single or combined species. Possession limit is six birds.
