Choose One of These Options to Obtain Your Spring Turkey License:
1. You may purchase a license for Hunt 234 between Jan. 1 and May 1, and the $4 application fee will not be charged. After May 1, Hunt 234 licenses will be available only to those who applied.
2. OR you may apply between Jan. 1 - Feb. 1 for a limited-quota license for a specific spring turkey hunt unit and season date (see below). It costs $4 to apply for the drawing.
3. OR you may wait to purchase a leftover license beginning March 19. Leftover licenses will be sold until the quotas are met for each hunt unit and may not be available for some units.
It is unlawful to obtain or purchase more than one spring turkey hunting license.
Hunt 234 (Guaranteed Hunt Period)

*Hunt 234 is a statewide hunting license valid for all open areas, except public lands in Unit ZZ (southern Lower Peninsula). This license is valid to hunt Fort Custer military lands with permission.
Hunters may purchase a license for Hunt 234 from Jan. 1 - May 1. No application fee will be charged.
Applicants who apply for Hunt 234 as their first or second choice are guaranteed a hunting license.
The Hunt 234 license also may be purchased by applicants who are unsuccessful in the drawing.
Note: Hunt 234 is not a limited-license hunt.

General Licenses
The general licenses listed below are valid on all public and private land within the unit.

**Quotas may be adjusted based on winter population surveys.
Private-Land-Only Licenses

The private-land-only licenses are not valid on county, state or federal lands, except Hunt 301 (Unit ZZ) may be used to hunt Fort Custer military lands with permission. You are encouraged to have permission to hunt private lands before applying for one of these licenses.
