Hunters may apply for one of these licenses or wait to purchase a leftover license after the drawing, if available.
Antlerless license sales information for the previous year is available on the DNR Web site and at license agents. This information is provided to assist you in deciding if you should apply for a private land antlerless license or take a chance that
Leftover Licenses
will be available to purchase beginning Sept. 17 at 10 a.m.
There is no guarantee leftover licenses will be available for any DMU.
Private land licenses for DMUs shaded green on the map are available without application and may be purchased beginning Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. Private land antlerless licenses will be sold until the quota is met for each DMU. Hunters may purchase one private land antlerless deer license each day, up to five private land antlerless licenses, with no more than two from Zone 1 (UP) and Zone 2 combined, excluding Special Regulation Units. The telephone number of the private landowner is required. It is unlawful to purchase more than one antlerless license of any kind (public or private land) in a single day. In addition, after the drawing, any leftover antlerless licenses may be purchased online or from any license agent, for all listed DMUs. You may not purchase both a public land and private land antlerless deer license on the same day.
