Mitchell State Park--Interpret the Signs for White-tailed Deer Hunting --Nov.7

Join the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center on Saturday, November 7, 2009 to learn how to interpret the signs for white-tailed deer hunting during a program that will be offered from noon to 2:00 p.m. For more details contact the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center at 231-779-1321.

All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.

 

Waterloo Recreation Area--Getting Their ZZZs-- Nov 7

Beginning 2 p.m. Saturday, November 7. Many animals are active in the winter, but others migrate and some hibernate. find out more about hibernating wildlife that are "getting their zzzs" during the winter months. For more information on this event contact the visitor center at 734-475-3170. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance. Highland Recreation Area--Stay in the Shade Run --Nov. 8

Stay in the Shade Run is a cancer fundraising run event. For more details contact the park at (248)889-3750. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.

 

Fort Custer Recreation Area--M.U.S.H. Rig Session  --Nov. 6-8
