Join the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center on Saturday, November 7, 2009 to learn how to interpret the signs for white-tailed deer hunting during a program that will be offered from noon to 2:00 p.m. For more details contact the Carl T. Johnson Hunting and Fishing Center at 231-779-1321.
All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
Waterloo Recreation Area--Getting Their ZZZs-- Nov 7
Beginning 2 p.m. Saturday, November 7. Many animals are active in the winter, but others migrate and some hibernate. find out more about hibernating wildlife that are "getting their zzzs" during the winter months.
