Leelanau State Park - Historical Snowshoe Hike

Enjoy historical snowshoe hike around Leelanau State Park and the Grand Traverse Lighthouse. Participants should meet at the Lighthouse Gift shop. There will be 18 pairs of snowshoes available first come, first served (sizes vary).

Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area - Candlelight Ski

Participants will be able to cross-country ski or snowshoe a groomed trail illuminated by candlelight. A bonfire and light refreshments will be part of the fun.

Ludington State Park - Lantern-Lit Ski and Snowshoe

Along the lantern-lit trail, a campfire will be available where visitors can warm themselves and enjoy a hot beverage. The park will be hosting additional lantern lit ski and snowshoe events on select Saturdays in January and February.

Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park - Lantern-Lit Skiing and Snowshoeing

Nearly 80 old-fashioned kerosene lanterns illuminate a 1-mile trail for a unique and memorable experience. Ski or snowshoe around the lighted loop. Stop about halfway around at the warming shelter for a campfire and some refreshments.

Fayette Historic State Park - Lantern-Lit Hike

Enjoy an evening of winter fun on this unique bluff trail, which will be lit with kerosene lanterns (approximately 1.5 miles). A warm bonfire marks the beginning and ending points. Complimentary hot chocolate will be provided. A few pairs of snowshoes will be available for borrow.
