Waterloo Recreation Area--Petoskey Stone Polishing

Children can polish their own Petoskey stones with the help of the staff geologist, and learn the history of the Michigan state stone. this program will be offered at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30. For more details contact the park at (734)475-3170. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
