Waterloo Recreation Area--Native American Sand Art

At 11 a.m. Saturday, August 1, learn about the Native Americans who lived at Waterloo long before Europeans settled here. Hear stories of Native American culture and create sand art to take home. For more details contact the park at (734)475-3170. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
