Leelanau State Park-Celebrate 150 years of the GRAND TRAVERSE LIGHTHOUSE

Come and celebrate 150 years of the Grand Traverse Lighthouse on July 19 from  10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Cost $4/adult, 5 and under free, and $2 for for those who are 6 to 18 years of age.

11-4 p.m. historic craft  demonstrations, Music and storytelling, food vendors, ice-cream and cake and a silent auction. 

 A fog signal demonstration will be done from 11:30 to 12:05 by 4 chosen visitors.

12:05-3 p.m. is a volunteer Keeper's Reunion Program.

6:30 to 8:30 is the Tall Ship Manitou cruise (limited to 62 people) cost $50/ person.

4 miles south of the park is Woolsey Airport offering helicopter rides.  Cost $50/person.
