event will be held at the Kent Lake Beach Unit. Over 1,000 people are expected to participate in this annual fundraising bike event.
Tour de Cure
is a one-day, non-competitive cycling event in which participants raise both funds and awareness for diabetes. Tour de Cure caters to the needs of all cyclists by providing them with everything they need to have an enjoyable ride, including maps, a marked route, support service, fully-stocked rest stops staffed by medical professionals, mechanical support and a delicious lunch provided by Carrabba's Italian Grill following the ride. Tour de Cure offers a variety of routes, including routes that are family friendly.
People are welcome to register online ahead of time by visiting

. However, day of event registration will also be available. Funds raised by Tour de Cure support local programs and services, including Camp Midicha, the only residential summer camp for children with diabetes in the State of Michigan; local and national publications, a toll-free information line, and our Web site which has been sighted as one of the leading resources for people with diabetes.
